WELCOME TO SIMPLE TEC (PTY) LTD TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This terms of service is a binding agreement between Simple Tec (Pty) Ltd and all users of Simple Tec (Pty) Ltd on our website and any other platforms that you may use to obtain our services. By using our website or any interaction with us on other platforms you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
This website enables you to shop online for a wide range of electronic devices, electronic accessories and solar products such as laptops and accessories, tablets and accessories, wearables, cellphones and accessories, computer monitors, LED panels, computers, computer peripherals and components, computer accessories, inverters and related products, batteries and accessories, solar panels and more products.
When you use our Website, notwithstanding your geographic location, you do so in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and provided that any delivery address, including for returns collections, is a delivery address within the borders of the Republic of South Africa.
Returns
Please refer to our Returns Policy for more information about returning products (and related refunds, replacements or repairs). The Returns Policy is incorporated by reference (which means that it forms part of these Terms and Conditions).
Registration and use of the website
Only registered user may buy products on this website.
To register as a user, you must provide a unique username and password and provide certain information and personal details to Simple Tec (Pty) Ltd. You will need to use your unique username and password to access the Website in order to purchase products.
You agree and warrant that your username and password shall:
- Be used for personal use only; and
- not be disclosed by you to any third party.
For security purposes you agree to enter the correct username and password whenever ordering Goods, failing which you will be denied access.
You agree that, once the correct username and password relating to your account have been entered, irrespective of whether the use of the username and password is unauthorized or fraudulent, you will be liable for payment of such order, save where the order is cancelled by you in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
You agree to notify Simple Tec (Pty) Ltd immediately upon becoming aware of or reasonably suspecting any unauthorized access to or use of your username and password and to take steps to mitigate any resultant loss or harm.
By using the Website you warrant that you are 18 (eighteen) years of age or older and of full legal capacity.
If you are under the age of 18 or if you are not legally permitted to enter into a binding agreement, then you may use the Website only with the involvement and supervision of your parent or legal guardian. The parent/legal guardian who permits you will be bound by these terms and conditions.
You may not use the Website to distribute material which is defamatory, offensive, contains or amounts to hate speech or is otherwise unlawful.
Please note that we sell products from various suppliers and have many role players involved. If, for any reason, we are unable to fulfil an order due to circumstances beyond our control, we will inform you accordingly and if you have already made payment for such order, we will refund you in full.
If for any reason, you change your mind and decide you no longer want the order, please ensure you cancel it before we can have it dispatched (within the first 2 days of placing the order). If the order is already in transit, you will be liable for returning it to us at your own cost. We will not be liable for any damages in transit by your courier when returning the product/s and we reserve the right to decline your refund for the product returned if it is damaged beyond re-seal and resell.
All opened box items will be sold at a discounted price and you will be informed well in advance that the box has been opened but the product is new. We will not sell any used or second hand products on this website or any other platform to you.
You acknowledge that all products offered may be limited and pricing can change at any time without prior notice to you. Simple Tec (Pty) Ltd will take all reasonable efforts to monitor stock levels and inform you on the website when a product is no longer in stock. Please note that we cannot guarantee the availability of stock.
Payment
We are committed to providing secure online payment facilities. You may one of two payment methods available on our website, such as PayFast or Electronic Transfer (EFT) to the bank details we have provided to you. You are required to email us the POP for your order to the email address provided. You agree and acknowledge that only once we receive your funds into our account we will process your order. If no funds are received in our account for the order/s you placed and the order is stagnant with no feedback from the customer, we reserve the right to cancel the order after 5 days of it being placed with us. Please note that we will not hold any stock for you or be liable for any order if you have not made payment. We will inform you of cancellation accordingly via the email address or contact number you have provided, if not on the web-portal.
Delivery of goods
Simple Tec (Pty) Ltd has two methods of delivery to you:
1. Courier; or
2. Self-Collection
1.1 We Courier Nationwide at no charge to you (Only in the borders of South Africa). Please note that this delivery charge may change at any time without prior notice to you. We undertake to provide you with a valid waybill/tracking number once the order/s has been invoiced and collected by couriers so you may track your parcel for delivery. You acknowledge and agree that your contact details and delivery address provided by you will be shared with the Courier company.
2.1 Depending on your location, the address for collection and necessary details will be shared with you at the time.
Simple Tec (Pty) Ltd is not responsible for any loss or unauthorized use of a product, after it has delivered the product to the physical address nominated by you.
We shall take all reasonable efforts to accurately reflect the description, availability and purchase price on our website. However, should there be any errors, Simple Tec (Pty) Ltd will not be responsible for any loss, claim or expense relating to a transaction based on an error.
Electronic communications
When you visit the Website or send emails to us, you consent to receiving communications from us.

The use of the Website is entirely at your own risk and you take full responsibility for any risk or loss resulting from use of the Website or reliance on any information on the Website or any other information on other platforms we may offer services to you on.
